Active Job Seekers
As a BYU alumnus, you most likely fall into one of the following 3 categories, based on your current interest in finding a new job, position, or career:
- Active - looking for a job or career change immediately, or in the near future.
- Passive - not actively seeking a change, but open to the possibility of a change if the right position, location, or other opportunity were to arise.
- Inactive - Happy and content with your current position and career path, not interested in entertaining other possibilities.
Our system is designed to work with you and for you, based on where you fit in these categories. At the very least, you will receive an interesting self-analysis when you completed the process, and there's no fee for any of these services.
Active jobseekers will be matched with prospective employers and their open jobs, based on your profile as you fill it out and maintain it in our system, and on the results of your ProfileXT assessment. Most employers will attempt to fill their positions from this group, if they can find qualified applicants.
The system is powerful, and will help assure you and your potential employer that their job is a good match for you and your skills and characteristics. Just as important, you remain in control of where you fit in the system, and you can update or change your profile and search status at any time.
