First/Mid-Level Officials/Manager
Position Summary:
Develops and recommends policies and procedures that govern the credit and collection activities of the organization. Directs the investigation of credit risks involving customers and suppliers and the collection of amounts due to the organization for goods and services rendered. This position is reserved for use at The Company Headquarters Building.

Essential Functions:
Studies, develops and recommends policies and procedures to be used in investigating, granting and controlling credit and in collecting accounts due.
Determines the amount of credit to be extended and recommends amount of working capital necessary to finance accounts receivable. Provides reserves against bad debts. Manages investigations regarding the credit standing of new customers. Monitors terms of payment and follow up on collection of accounts.

Description
Manages adjustment of customer claims.
Manages maintenance of accounts receivable ledger.
Aids customers in obtaining financial assistance.

Conducts or participates in special studies of economic conditions in particular industries.
Visits existing and potential customers to investigate credit and collection matters and to foster good credit relationships between the customer and the organization.
Prepares reports on status of credit and collection activities.

Participates in credit groups in bankruptcy actions.
May assist in indoctrinating sales representatives in organization credit policies and practices.

Studies, develops and recommends policies and procedures to be used in investigating, granting and controlling credit and in collecting accounts due.

May participate in investment review and policy formation.

May serve as consultant to subsidiary organizations.

Qualifications
Requirements:
A 4-year degree is required.
