Description
Maeser Prep is seeking a Special Education Director. This is not a full-time position. The director will create IEPs for special ed students and monitor the implementation of IEPs by existing part-time SPED staff. This will require approximately 6-10 hours per week on site and phone calls as needed to address parent and student concerns.
Karl G. Maeser Preparatory Academy is a 9-12 public charter high school located in Lindon, Utah which emulates the great college preparatory academies in the United States. In 2008-2009 we will serve 250 students. Our goal is to become an institution which influences the lives of its students, preparing them for lifelong service, leadership and the pursuit of excellence.

Qualifications
Applicants must have current Utah State licensing in Special Education. Preference will be given to those with previous SPED experience, especially at the high school level.
